This Privacy Policy describes how Creator Follower Counter ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and discloses information when you use our website, connect your TikTok account, and use the Creator Follower Counter service (the "Service").

Who we are

Creator Follower Counter allows creators to connect a TikTok account and display follower-related account information on our dashboard and on a connected follower counter device.

Information we collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us, information generated when you use the Service, and information that TikTok shares with us after you authorize our app.

When you connect your TikTok account, we may receive TikTok account identifiers and profile information that you authorize us to access, including `open_id`, username, display name, profile links, bio description, and account verification status.

We may also receive follower-related information, including follower count, when available through the TikTok APIs used by the Service.

To keep the connection active, we may store OAuth-related credentials and metadata such as access tokens, refresh tokens, token expiry times, and connection status.

We also collect basic technical information such as timestamps, device or browser information, IP address, request logs, and error logs for security, troubleshooting, and service maintenance.

How we use information

We use personal information only for legitimate operational purposes related to the Service.

This includes authenticating your TikTok connection, retrieving and displaying the profile and follower information you authorized, operating a connected follower counter device, securing the Service, diagnosing technical issues, and responding to support or deletion requests.

The Service is read-only. We do not post content to TikTok, send messages, modify TikTok account settings, or take actions on your behalf inside TikTok.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We only disclose information to service providers who help us host, secure, and operate the Service, when required by law or legal process, to protect the rights and security of the Service, or in connection with a business transfer permitted by law.

Data retention

We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the Service, maintain the TikTok connection you requested, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

TikTok tokens and connected-account data are retained while your account remains connected or until they are no longer needed for the Service. Logs and backup data may persist for a limited period as part of normal security and disaster recovery processes.

Data retention and deletion

You may stop using the Service at any time. You may also request deletion of your stored TikTok connection data by emailing support@creatorfollowercounter.space.

If you disconnect your TikTok account or request deletion, we will take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify the related stored data, except where retention is required for security, legal compliance, fraud prevention, or legitimate recordkeeping purposes.

Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Third-party services

The Service relies on TikTok authentication and API services. Your use of TikTok remains subject to TikTok's own terms, privacy policy, and platform rules. Our website may also use third-party hosting, infrastructure, analytics, or email providers to operate the Service.

Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.

International data processing
